Quality Printing Company is proud to announce that it has adopted the new G7 print standards and is now qualified as an IDEAlliance Master Printer.
The G7 print calibration process was developed to reliably produce high-end commercial printing with a close visual appearance from proof to press and from press to press. This designation signifies that Quality Printing has been trained to print to the new G7 methodology. Additionally, the color from every Quality Printing proof and press sheet will match GRACoL industry standards within acceptable tolerances. In other words, the colors appearing in a proof will match the final printed colors, remaining consistent from prepress through to the press room.
This designation also recognizes that Quality Printing uses the most modern technology, techniques, process controls and standards required to produce high-quality commercial printing.
Quality Printing has always strived to be on the leading edge of the printing industry. By implementing G7, we can utilize the newest technologies to meet the latest color industry standards, which will assure the final color quality of the printed output is true to your creative vision and can be delivered at the lowest possible cost exceeding your expectations and improving our internal processes along the way.
What does this mean for your project?
When you send in a new project and we supply your proof, you can be assured the final printed project if printed on gloss paper will match the colors you approved on your proof. This also gives you assurance that if you reprint your project in the future using the same files, the color will match from printing to printing. In addition, you will have consistency assurance for a project series using the same colors.
What about previously printed projects and corporate color standards?
This is a very good question. You may notice a slight shift in colors due to the new G7 standards. However, our testing finds that for most projects you will not see any shifts in color. If you are concerned about any of your reprint projects or your corporate colors, please contact your Sales Representative or Project Manager to discuss this concern before reprinting.
